I am back among the living once again. I started feeling human enough to actually get some chores done this afternoon. The sheep eye'd me suspiciously as though I was contagious or something when I went out to feed them this evening.
Not much else to say so far. I missed two pretty nice days that I could have been getting some more stuff done but instead spent it in bed nursing a bottle of Nyquil (cherry flavor if you must know). I think I slept 20 hours for each of the two days I was sick. Sometimes I am like that and I find I get over the illness much faster if I just sleep it off.
Still a bit stuffy tonight but the sore throat is gone.
Gonna be a lot of catch up work again tomorrow. The firewood racks are getting low and I need to get some more hay bales out of the enclosed stock trailer. I also need to get over to the two hives I have at the orchard and put the foam insulation wraps on them and maybe get down and cut up that old Elm I have in the back of the pasture.
Maybe sometime before Spring the ground will freeze hard enough I can get these six hives moved to their new locations.
It could happen.

ReplyDeleteI take something called Placebo, it works better than the regular medicine. We are in the teens again this morning but if the wind doesn't blow I will cut some wood.

ReplyDeleteSometimes lots of sleep and a little medicine helps get you back on your feet. Good to hear you're feeling better. Stay warm, and don't over do it.
