The Slow Decline
It's still HOT here. Heat advisory out. Roads are buckling and although we are not listed as "Abnormally Dry" yet the topsoil is almost dust. The White clover hasn't started dying off yet though but I am starting to have nightmares of 2012-like conditions. If the White clover dies off I will have to resort to open feeding my honey bees. It's also one reason I have not done a late Spring honey pull as well because I am not going to take any honey from the hives until I know they have enough blooms to replace the loss.
In browsing the headlines safe and cool in my air conditioned computer room I just cannot fathom how anyone can buy into the Obummer lies of any type of recovery.
That's the thing that makes me dislike liberal Democrat types so much. They believe their own lies and never see the hypocrisy or the repercussions of their actions.
Banks have once again started raising fees and laying employees off while simultaneously opening up toxic loans again with minimal down payments. The auto loan boom is slowing down although I understand the repossession business is still very busy. The Fed is backing away from promised rate hikes which will keep savings low and continue to stealth tax long term savers.
I am even beginning to see articles about the demographic shift to elderly we have had staring us in the face for a while now.
What did the early progressives think was going to happen when they allowed all these rapid feminist to go crazy? Allowed? Hell they subsidized em for decades while attacking traditional Male roles and men in general along with the family and child rearing. Now all of a sudden it's a problem?
The upside to all this is right in front of our face however. We are seeing the end of perpetual growth economics which combined with cheap energy is the only reason the feminist dominated society could hold off nature long enough to get us into this mess. However it is totally parasitic in nature and cannot live without the host remaining strong. This is the catch 22 and what we are witnessing is the host finally weakening enough that the parasite is also dying. It's all kinda like the host running a fever to the point that the parasite is uncomfortable or maybe it's a virus? Anyway you get the idea.
Perhaps we are seeing the cracks really beginning to widen as I noticed Gold and Silver have been steadily rising once again.
Maybe the control is slipping this time? If so it maybe a really long hot Summer....
Keep Prepping Everyone!!!!!

It is like they are hell bent on self destruction. It seems like every decision is made with the greatest harm to our country and society in mind. We don't need enemies when we have these people in control.
ReplyDeleteSf - Agreed!!!
DeleteThe UK seems to be on a path of destruction with the EU referendum taking place next week, with both sides stating the UK will decline rapidly if we stay or if we go, I am voting out, will be glad when its all over with, my bees havent even swarmed as of yet think I will be looking at doing a hive split.
ReplyDeleteDawn - I tend to think decline will happen faster if you stay in but liberals and their lies and all that. Humans are not really designed to live in large empires as they get out of control too easily.
DeleteI read in the Minneapolis paper that our unemployment is now 3.6%. I call BS. the jobs that are going unfilled are the minimum wage jobs. Not sure how the high tech are doing?
ReplyDeleteRob - I understand your caution. Take note though that employment is a lagging indicator. In other words it often doesn't go down until after the recession has already started.
DeleteThe numbers they been using to hide the true unemployment rate are evil genius though.
DeleteRob, all I can definitively say is that the fact that we continue to not product enough jobs to meet minimal demand (as I recall, this should be around 250K a month) while the official unemployment rate continues to decline seems highly suspect to me.
DeleteAs a young woman I chose the path less traveled....working in agriculture. I knew then I could not have it all. I made a choice. The cry for womens equality in pay is a sham....for a woman to be in the work force and have children means a huge support system of child care....I did not have children and that was a choice I made to be able to do the work I wanted to. I beleive from my childhood....children should be met by their Mother when they get home...it is more than a career it is the future of society. The loss of both parents to a full time job takes something away from our children and screws up the economy in weird ways...I apologize for the rant!
ReplyDeleteFiona - What I find funny is there have always been women just like you around and men loved them for it. Men were not the ones forcing women in traditional roles and until they got crazy men generally didn't speak out against women who broke the mold so to speak. Feminist today pretend women like you never existed.
DeleteThe thought of young women being drafted was on my mind all day yesterday- probably explains the upset tummy I had, too.
ReplyDeleteI hear there's a possibility for a drought similar to 2012in my area this year thanks to an El something or other. I'm looking to stock up as much hay as I can.
HG - Ya when women get drafted it's going to be a wake up call for some.
DeleteA repeat of 2012 is keeping me up at night. One reason I haven't done a honey pull yet.
I'm working at a different facility this week again and it's interesting. A year ago no one would have talked politics on the job site, now i'm seeing a lot of vical and angry people fed up with government incompetence.

Exile - I have noticed far more people that fled from discussing politics a few years ago now will go into it myself.
