Red State Welfare Myth Again

The posting I did last year on the Red state Welfare myth continues to get hit after hit daily. It also continues to get comments. Not many, maybe one a month or so but occasionally they bring with them new insight or information.

Recently I received a link to this article.

Who Are the Biggest Moochers?

Some interesting data analysis and breakdowns of government spending per party affiliation as well.

Might want to check it out.

Keep Prepping Everyone!!!

  1. It is interesting that they want to equate defense spending with welfare spending to show a larger flow of tax dollars to red states. If that is their argument I suppose we could relocate the "dense pack" missile fields to urban Los Angeles or maybe New York city. And the long term nuclear material storage site could go to Portland or Seattle, maybe even D.C. We really need to "share" that kind of welfare.

  2. OMG...Do you ever watch Waters' World on Fox News? On last nights show he was in West Palm Beach. I realize they probably pick the most idiotic people to be on the show for the ratings but these bums took the cake! They said they were on food stamps, sold them for beer and cigarettes, not a one interviewed was sober. West Palm Beach is one of the priciest places to live in Florida. No wonder someone would think Florida is a moocher state when they air people such as these.

PS...I am all for Indy's suggestion! Florida has a lot of Military bases and probably have things they could share with the non moochers.
