On The Edge

I have been writing this blog for over four years now. When I first started I included a lot more pictures and personal information about what I was doing which I purged after the 2012 elections. I see now I was right in doing so as four more years of "The Golfer in Chief" was certainly going to turn out bad.

We are on the very edge of collapse right now. Nothing has improved Nationally since 2008 except the government's propaganda machine and Internationally things have begun falling at an ever increasing rate. Not one problem area on this entire planet is better off today than it was four years ago, except maybe Burma. I am a little unclear there but didn't they have a slight turn for the better?

Are we right now any closer or in any more danger of a collapse than we were four years ago? Well yes we are. For one thing everyday more people are seeing the lie for what it is and for another the cracks in the Chinese financial wall are breaking and we are openly in a dance with Russia that borders on extreme consequences.

If these, or the other current reasons pass by without triggering the final slide to collapse all well and good, but the chances increase with each incident as time goes by. I know many are just plain tired of preparing for something that never seems to happen but I cannot stress enough it has been happening even if it hasn't directly effected you yet it has certainly been touching others.

By this time in your preps you should have a minimum of four months worth of stored food, a water filter, at least a shotgun and 500 various rounds of ammo for it (Size doesn't really matter here), a skill you can barter with and a collection of hand tools to work a garden and the skill of your choice with.

Bare minimum folks. With those items you could carve out a sustainable life for yourself from scratch but you better not run into any post-collapse emergencies after the fact is all I can say.

No firefights in defense. No droughts. No late freezes. No tools breaking. No government crackdowns. You get the idea.

You also better have a plot of land you can work with those items. Begged, Borrowed, or stolen doesn't matter.

The time that separates the real preppers from the wannabes could fall at any moment now. You decide which group you want to be in.

Keep Prepping Everyone!!!

  1. Anyone that can watch the developments around us and just say 'oh, everything will work out OK, it always has' is just plain delusional. It might have been true in the past, but with both parties of our government against us, as well as our 17 trillion dollar debt, all bets are off.

    1. SD - I honestly cannot figure out how it has not all fallen apart. Why any other country would buy our debt at this point is beyond me yet not all of it can be Fed Reserve Fraud can it? It just baffles me how we haven't collapsed yet.

  2. The Moose and I are on your same page. Just plugging along, collecting items we need or may need, as well as learning as much as possible about being self sustained.

  3. There would be major protests in the streets by now had the media reported on this clown like they did on Bush. Most of the people are being fed sunshine by the biased media. This is however a good thing for us as it give more time for thinking people to get things in order and prepare. China is being good now because they need us but when a collapse starts they won't have any use for anyone not buying the junk they sell. I think my goal will be to get less addicted to electricity as I can see that becoming too expensive really fast. The internet will be shut down for "security reasons" so print off or somehow save critical information as in how to build things, (super duper beehives, lol).

    1. Most of the people live under mushrooms these days, so I wouldn't call what they are being fed sunshine exactly.

    2. Matt - You are correct is ain't sunshine lol

Sf - As I said I just don't understand why countries like China continue to carry US debt except sometimes I think overall it may be cheaper to do us in that way than with tanks and bombs.

OMG without the internet my son's head would explode.
