At Least I Know I am not the Only One Who Sees It

It's kinda nice sometimes to see an article out there written by someone who is famous or has a number of followers that mirrors points I had come to earlier.

Actually I find it happens quite a bit but I am sure a large part of that is having similar reading habits and prior opinions more than anything else.

a military that everyone knows will never, ever deploy against a legitimate power like Russia or China, is NO MILITARY AT ALL.  If you refuse to fight, if you refuse to win, then your EFFECTIVE arsenal is ZERO, regardless of how many trillions upon trillions it “costs”.  And make no mistake, everyone now knows that the U.S. is basically a non-entity militarily vis-a-vis a Sino-Russian axis.  Given this, why WOULDN’T a nut like Putin invade Ukraine and recapture it for his neo-Mongol empire?  Capital outflows?  Oh, it will be back.  The markets, especially in these dark days, will ruthlessly gravitate toward a “winner”.  There may be short-term chop, but the attraction to strength and power will attract capital in the medium-term.

Barnhadt doesn't come right out and admit it is a debt thing but she is seeing the obvious writing on the wall there I think.

 Of course now my conspiracy mind is ticking and I keep going back to all the Obummer regime appointees who time and time again celebrate Socialist and Communist personages from the past as their personal heroes.

And I wonder.

To them a military capitulation to China may not actually seem like a bad idea. They seem more interested in turning the military inward by gearing up police forces than defending outward anyway.
