Feminism will Last about 15 Seconds after the Lights Go Out

Every so often these days one get's to see the the spark of fear in someone's eyes as they realize we have been living in a debt driven, FIAT fantasy land for the last 60 years.

Sometimes this fear manifests itself in outright denial or vicious claims that nature can be defied forever.

But every so often someone sees the truth.

It's a Man's World, And it Always Will Be....

But the triumphalism among some, such as Hanna Rosin in her book, “The End of Men,” about women’s gains seems startlingly premature, such as when Rosin says of the sagging fortunes of today’s working-class couples that they and we had “reached the end of a hundred thousand years of human history and the beginning of a new era, and there was no going back.” This sweeping appeal to history somehow overlooks history’s far darker lessons about the cyclic rise and fall of civilizations, which as they become more complex and interconnected also become more vulnerable to collapse. The earth is littered with the ruins of empires that believed they were eternal.

If I am not mistaken this author has long been a Feminist champion and is an open Lesbian as well. At least if it is who I think she is...

Regardless, even those with an agenda are starting to sweat.

Things maybe further along than we thought.

More to come this evening. The boy and I are going to see the new Hobbit movie :)

Keep Prepping Everyone!!!

  1. Your posting reminded me of when the barbarians rolled into Rome, things changed drastically immediately. Their system had to keep expanding but eventually it couldn't. Our federal government is almost like a Roman Empire that has to expand to exist and it can not continue to exist. The only question is who the vandals will be.

  3. There was a link on Drudge tonight to Camille Paglia's essay on how it's a man's world. It makes some of the same points you do, Preppy.
