I Won the Colorful Quote Award

I rarely vote in the Primary election around here. The only time it happens is if someone I know personally needs a bit of a primary voter boost or something. However with the latest slimy trick pulled by Femocrat politicians I was forced to vote on several Constitutional Amendment proposals I wrote about the other day.

So I swung by about 10 AM yesterday to take care of business and as usual I spent more time waiting for the old people with walkers, canes and wheelchairs to shuffle in line than I did filling out my form. I must have held the door open for 20 of them in a row. Not that I am complaining in the slightest bit just stating a fact. I think next time I am going to wait until after five to go in, not because of the older people, I love them honestly, but because if the demographics I see at the polling place are not skewed by time of day we rural Whites are gonna be in big trouble in a few years. I am hoping I will see a more mixed age group after 5 PM.

Anyway back on topic. I show my ID (As is proper for voting) and then scoot over to the ballot table where they ask me what party ballot I want. So in proper PP style I said.

"I want my Ballot like my candidates, anything but Democrat".

At this statement one of the table ladies (Who I actually know as a fellow Home schooler) began laughing uncontrollably while the other old biddy put on her best sour face look and demanded I claim a party.  My reply?

"I'm sorry I see you don't prefer White Men. I guess I will just take a Constitutional Ballot to make this easy".

OMG the look was priceless from this 80+ year old Woman. Honestly I am betting she has prolly been a Democrat her entire life and has no clue what is really going on in her party. I really think I struck a nerve that might make her stop and think a bit. I could see her expression literally change as what I said, and the abstract meaning, sunk in. My guess is after the initial shock wore off her thoughts turned to her grand Sons or something.

As it turned out I bumped into the home school acquittance this morning as I was pumping some gas for the tractors and she started laughing uncontrollably when she saw me. Apparently my comments not only struck a nerve but remained the talk of the old Lady Poll Watchers for the rest of the day. She mentioned that she took the opportunity to point out that so many of the Democrat policies are outright attacking White Men but didn't know if it did any good in the long run.

Whatever. She did thank me for speaking my mind though and in the end that's what it's all about my friends. Time to start taking the gloves off and hitting back.

As it turns out all the Proposals I was interested in went as I hoped. The Right to Farm barely passed by only about 2500 votes that were obviously split along Urban/Rural lines. The Firearms proposal passed by a wide margin and the Sales Tax proposal for a private playground slush fund that MoDot wanted was shot down in flames. In fact pretty much all tax proposals were shot down across the board. I think the local college town Democrat territory passed one if I remember right.

Oh well, all is right in the world this morning. Nothing like baiting old Democrats to get the blood flowing.

Keep Prepping Everyone!!!!

  1. Excellent response. :) And I'm glad to hear how the voting went. Our primary is on the 19th, and I'm not nearly as confident about that one.

    1. RP - What did dismay me is the fact that the farm bill was actually voted down in my own rural county. I am not sure why exactly either because the neighbor county to the South which is much less rural it was passed in. I am thinking we have such an influx of small homesteaders here that they bought into the anti-GMO big ag argument. Not that there isn't some merit to those claims but I consider the animal rights people a bigger overall threat than GMO. It's a pick your poison kinda thing.

  2. We have the same old women here who would support the devil himself if he was a democrat, little do they know that they are. I think that they know exactly what they are doing when they vote for the anti-constitution progressives as they don't like men or living in a republic that was once run by real men.
At least your state still has some voters with brains unlike Virginia.

    1. Sf - I think you and I are actually related by blood somehow. I will give some of the old girls the benefit of the doubt though. There are many of them that just haven't really thought it through. There are also a number of old guys that don't have a clue either but they have been Democrats since time began so no changing now.

I don't think Missouri has any more people with brains than good old Virginia I think we just have fewer large cities and smaller ones overall. I bet if they had waited another couple of year those proposition wouldn't have passed too.

    2. I will laugh when the Socialist Security checks don't get sent out some day because it is decided that they really don't deserve it, that the money should go to help more deserving people. I don't plan on getting any of the money that was confiscated from me.

    3. OH I know there is no way I am going to see what I paid in to the system. Or if we do the value of the dollar will be so far gone who will care?

Big surprises in store for many people especially older ones with very misguided ideas they are carrying around with them I imagine.

  3. My step Grandfather was a blind fool. He would rant and rave about this that and everything else. But ask him who he voted for OMG did that hit a nerve. He knew my views, as I had told my Grandma many times over. He didn't like it when the GOP was in control.

    1. Rob - Ya and many of those old timers had some damned good reasons for hating the GOP and being life long Democrats. They just get so out of touch those reasons are no longer relevant. No telling em different either.

  4. LOL! Good times at the polls and the results were great. Win Win :)))))
I went once during old people hour, which I'm pretty sure is all day. I ended up having to run to some old ladies car to get her purse for her but she held my place in line :)
