A Little Help for a Friend and His Family

Times are tough all over I know. Within the last few weeks I have seen about half a dozen or so members of our blogging community fall on hard times and ask for help and many of us have donated.

Rob over at Rob in His Bunker needs a little financial help right now as his family has been forced to move unexpectedly and they need to come up with a small amount of funds to get into some new living quarters.

Rob is a good guy with a very kind heart and any amount you can spare to donate will help greatly in smoothing out this financial bump in the road and allow his entire family to rest a bit easier.

Seriously no amount is too small as it will all add up quickly.

Aside from the funds I am transferring to help out I also have one last jar of honey in a shipping safe plastic container I have offered up to send to the individual who donates the most to Rob's cause. I don't know the particulars of shipping Honey over international borders or anything so I can only promise to do what I can but as soon as Rob let's me know who donated the most I will work out the details. We maybe limited to US donations as the only ones eligible, if that is the case I apologize.

There is a donate button link on Rob's blog which I linked above if you can help. As I said any amount is most welcome and appreciated. Even just a  few dollars will help get us to Rob's goal.

Keep Prepping Everyone!!!

  1. hey - are you 2 having private conversations without me??? do i have to get the *ss-kicking boots out?!?!?!? bahahahaha! PP - we donated to help our buddy Rob and his family. i would like to enter the contest for the honey, tho i am sure i wouldn't win. but just in case i do, i would then like you to do another contest for another draw for the honey...that way we can double up the contributions, ya know? and get more financial support for Rob. thanks for doing this PP...much love to you buddy. and to my little brother Matt...and to my smart-*ssed brother Rob!

    your friend,

  4. I am a little cash poor myself at the moment but I could donate one lovely 1 oz. silver coin (Buffalo reproduction) .999 pure silver and a box of 50 .22 long rifle as prizes for donations.

    1. Thank you, Jamie.

The silver 1 0z. coin sounds great. Unless anyone knows different, I am told there are issues with shipping ammo unless you have legal permits or something.... so let's hold off on the ammo.

    2. Ya as I was telling Matt my local post office has ammo listed as a hazardous material so I imagine shipping it other than through UPS might be a problem.

    3. I'll drop the 22 LR but the silver round is still on the table.

    1. I replied back to the other email. Not sure what is going on as I have no spam thing turned on for that email account. One reason I stopped using yahoo mail was I was losing emails to auto spam trash.
