Moving Forward with Mo. Gun Rights

Missouri's Bills to protect it's citizen's from further non-Constitutional moves by the gun grabbers at the National level are continuing to move forward.

Unless I am mistaken (which yes it does happen as even I get confused by the frequent committee shuffling and procedural rules) both

HB 436 - Establishes the Second Amendment Preservation Act which rejects all federal acts that infringe on a Missouri citizens' rights under the Second Amendment of the United States Constitution.

HB 170 -  Specifies that a federal official must not enforce a federal firearm law when the firearm is manufactured and remains in the state and that any new federal law banning or restricting ownership of a semi-automatic firearm is unenforceable

Are moving on to the next level. HB436 I believe now goes to the Senate from the House. Once it passes the Senate I doubt the Democritter governor will have the balls to veto it and even if he does they will over ride it pretty handily.

I also believe they tacked an amendment that will reduce the age for concealed carry licenses from 21 years of age to 19 on HB436 as well.

Another example of what makes Missouri an ideal retreat location, we take our rights seriously round these here parts.

You could hear the crying from the St. Louis and KC reps at the Capital building clear across the next county.

Keep Prepping Everyone!!!

  1. Don't get too excited, the liberal courts will rule the federal laws will trump any state and local laws. thus the Mo laws will be ruled unenforcible and you will be forced to go along with the rest of us to the reeducation camps. See you there!

    1. I don't know about that SD. We are reaching the limit of activist courts. I am not so sure this wouldn't give Missourians the line they needed to say enough is enough.

There comes a point when some feel they have enough law backing them that the opinion of a few who say differently no longer matters.

  2. That sounds good and all and I'm glad to see these kinds of laws being passed, but didn't someone simply break the law when they forwarded all the CCH info to the feds recently in MO?

What good are laws when people simply break them?

    1. Matt - Well the concealed carry info exchange does have firearms in common the bottom line is concealed carry is specifically NOT an individual right. In fact it is specifically mentioned in the Mo. State Constitution. The sharing of the information is actually not illegal either but the ass sharing is somewhat shady. The director was forced to resign over that deal as well.

My bet is you won't see anything like that happen again anytime soon.

I would also bet that we will next see legislation aimed at limiting mass data sharing as well.
