Cleanup Begins

 

For the first day in what feels like weeks but has only really been about 3 days I was able to get back out and assess the damage.

Besides having half a tree laying over part of my barn it has really been weeks now since I was able to do any work around here other than mowing, moving some old hay bales and that sort of thing. Garden work has been very sporadic and the wind storms have destroyed most any work I did find time to do. 

Not to mention the little goat above has recently decided as the old goat gets old she is now in charge. So far no other goats agrees with her but she has gotten very familiar with her horns and very affectionate about rubbing them on the wife and I. It's been very annoying and somewhat painful in the wrong area. Not mean in anyway but she likes to make her presence known in a way she has never done before. 

I finally got my new Go Pro installed on one of the computers although I am not sure how yet but I started trying to make some videos. I have no idea what I am doing, still cannot figure out the icons for the various uses. In fact often I am doing well just to turn the thing on. 

 I wish I has managed to save my first attempts at video from around the place but ya gotta start somewhere. This is gonna be a steep curve I assure you. If you see all those over ripe cucumbers keep in mind most of them are now in livestock tummies.

This Summer has been so bad I am just feeding everything now that I can save. There maybe time for some Tomatoes to actually ripen and the corn has a few weeks to go yet but otherwise I am just harvesting and feeding everything else as I see it. No point in messing around with the mess I have been left with but I have learned a few important specie type info. Also since the first few hornworms attacks I took video of they have almost completely disappeared.

I noticed several Vbloggers making reference to the fact that ads for certain items for sale that should not have been purchased while owing Student loans are on a huge up swing. Also even though prices are  being touted as rising for autos and homes the total loan amounts are at there lowest point ever. While complaints of dishonest property taxes are at a real upswing. Like in my case where an extra tax for Manufacturing was suddenly added to my assessment but the new local manufacturing plant next door is still setting uncompleted and empty by August. Several of my neighbors have noticed this as well. There was no manufacturing around here on January 1st. Same with the advertised Sub-division that has now become a bean field and barn too. Seems the government also feels the gig is going to be up soon and added as many charges as they could before the so called Commercial Loan monster could show up complete with banks collapsing and 8700 IRS agents.

If they think we don't see these coincidences they are just greed hungry.

I doubt we have seen the worst of their public wealth looting yet.
