Well it has gotten hot here again and pollinated so I have been hiding inside and only coming out in the evening. Not showing any relief in sight coming soon either. I hope it doesn't last too long I am a whimp when it comes to heat these days.
Only really interesting tid-bit I cam across today was over on the "Better Bachelor" podcast who had an article interesting article on DIE-Versity and it's alleged effects on the safety of this latest submersible accident in the Atlantic. Rumor has it that the designer of the "sub" was recently replaces after by the company owner with a huge shout out to younger diversity employees needed to take the helm.
Like we haven't seen out fair share of black swan events just like that the last decade or so. I expect them to come more often and worse in the tears to come.
I am not sure what is heralded this month but I got the feeling something is scheduled for a big unpleasant change soon.

I actually saw the video of the guy in charge of the Titan sub company who was going on about "50-year-old white guys" running the research sub operations and how he wanted younger people who were "more inspirational." That was NOT a rumor! Talk about "sub" standard!...
ReplyDeleteWhen you're at sea in crappy weather and the waves seem to be coming from every direction, all you can do is find something bolted or welded to the deck and tie yourself in to ride out the storm. ...That's where the likes us us are at right now... ...And I can tell you from personal experience that even when you're tied in, the ride TRULY SUCKS!
