It just doesn't seem to matter what type of old tractor you operate, whether it's an Allis Chalmers, FarmAll, Ford or even a Deere.....
There are plenty of differences. Some have darker seat covers, some have larger wheels or more rounded fenders. Others have longer sway bars.
But the similarities are just as important :)
I have noticed that some make more noise than other, it gets down right distracting as a matter of fact. Others are real hard tto crank while on the other hand some are very cranky. Its good if you get one that works all the time.
ReplyDeleteYa it' kinda annoying when ya have to plug em in hours before you want to get anything done too :)

I too have noticed this pattern it's a conundrum I tell ya.
ReplyDeleteYes it is...
DeleteYes a good tractor is hard to find. Any good photos of Minneapolis Moline tractors?? I remember their old plant in Minneapolis back in the day. They blew a whistle every day at noon.
ReplyDeleteRob - I have had my eyes peeled for a bright yellow tractor that would fit the MM category. Been looking for an Oliver as well but so far no dice.
