So Why Now?

 

I am not going to sugar coat it but this has been a long week for trying to keep up with work, haying and this oppressive heat. I have gotten little outside work done beside watering on my garden and a small bit of weed control honestly. The buffalo burr is especially growing like gangbusters right now too and so are the later Canada Thistle and I have been making such good progress on controlling those weeds the last few years I don't want to stop yet. A minor investigation of one of the fields I been working on today with a friend showed us a renewed large patch of Timothy growing as well. We are hoping a full cut, the first one in years, will be viable in that field if we get a bit of rain between now and September. 

My freshly planted pumpkin patch is finding it impossible to keep up with the water loss right now until they get some more roots in the ground even with the heavy mulch I have down. Tomatoes and Pepper plants are stunted from the heat and melons that have been in for plenty of time to avoid full blown wilting are showing the daily stress levels openly. This better break soon or my food growth is liable to be a total write off this Summer.

They say the heat and dry conditions are suppose to break this evening, but originally that was suppose to happen about an hour ago only to see everything go North around us so far. Figures.

On the economic front things seem once again to have moved into mass confusion, competitive news and simple misdirection of anything produced for North American consumption. I am hearing conflicting reports on about everything from unemployment to daily interest rates and PPP theft numbers. The spin Casters are working over time from all angles to keep American guessing and uninformed until the final hammer falls and they have looted all the wealth their little corrupt democrat minds can think of.

On the plus side SCOTUS shot down AA for schools, we will see how they try and get around that for a few years. And also put a nix on the BiteMe's student loan forgiveness Geuss they are going to have to keep using the inflation rout to get American's poor enough for the great Liberal take over they are planning. Unless they get their reparations and direct confiscations soon..

I sure hope the weather starts cooperating better before then.
