Cat v. Snake Video

It looks like once again Blogger is having some type of issue and my posts are not updating for hours and hours after I make them. Yesterday's post still hadn't updated this morning when I left for work. Not sure why this little glitch seems to show up on this blog every couple of months. I had hoped they got the issue fixed.

One theory is that someone is flagging the blog for inappropriate content every so often which causes the issue. It kinda makes sense as I have noticed that the first attack Leftist, multi-cult, feminist types try and do is silence anyone who speaks the truth.

My guess is that is why Trump is so popular right now.

Anyway finally got the video converted and up loaded to You Tube.

You will note at about 30 seconds in the cat bats the snake on top of his head which causes the snake to curl up into a much tighter defensive ball and prepare to strike. At the end of the video the cat finally moves in close enough and the snake strikes causing the cat to almost teleport backwards off the screen. If you blink you will miss it.

I was impressed that little feline could move that fast.

Keep Prepping Everyone!!!!!!

  1. One of our cats looks just like yours, coloration is exact, and markings similar enough to be hard to tell the difference. He caught a squirrel the other day and paralyzed it. Likely with the idea of coming back to it later.

    1. Russ - I will see the cats dot he same thing to a rabbit around here but usually the dogs come along and finish the rabbit off. That little cat is the only 100% pure bred and born cat on the place. He owns the small-hold just ask him :)

  2. Impressive. One of our cats caught a snake when I was cooking dinner the other night, and it really freaked out the boys who came running in to tell me about it.

    1. Lisa - The queen cat my son and I had for years as the only pet around here used to kill small snakes and then bring them too me. Freaked me out a few times.

  3. No love lost there, that cat has it in for that snake. You might have a snake deterrent.

    1. SD - Ya I guess I just never see em move that fast when playing with me. I always thought I was just too fast for em. Now I know they are simply humoring me :)

  6. adorable cat! I wish mine would only play with their snakes outside- found more than one in the kitchen. Don't sweat the blog update; mine's doing the same thing & since no one reads it Im sure its not getting flagged ;)

    1. Jewlz - I know my old female cat used to bring me critters all the time until she got too old and fat to hunt.

This not-updating thing is maddening. It only seems to happen to a few blogs and no one at blogger cares to figure out why and fix it.

    1. Dawn - I know there is a reason for it as it seems to only happen to a few blogs. Blogger won't even acknowledge there is a problem though.

  10. What a brave cat you have. No cats here, and I am not sure what our rottweiller girls would do if they cornered one. Probably just paddle at it with their long legs. The chickens would go for it though!

    1. Vera - I doubt the chickens would mess with that snake. He is at least five foot long when stretched out. If I was a chicken I would run from it :)
