Some mowers have a panel you can remove so the forage basically some straight out the back/rightside rather than directed across the width of the cut. Slow down the rpm's a bit too.johnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02393652685143884957noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8788289492661192400.post-81344918569454329362015-09-01T22:23:15.688-04:002015-09-01T22:23:15.688-04:00Rob - Ya I wish it was just sidetracked though. The annual Goldenrod flow is one of the (if not THE) most important honey flows of the season here. The girls will literally be working themselves to death over the next month or so bringing in all the Goldenrod nectar. The hives will smell like dirty old socks when ya get near them but the honey taste good.<br />PioneerPreppyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09269878017447335944noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8788289492661192400.post-76615995066904777622015-08-31T21:33:50.349-04:002015-08-31T21:33:50.349-04:00Sf - The sheep will eat Goldenrod mixed into hay. ...Sf - The sheep will eat Goldenrod mixed into hay. You are lucky. My fields are so overgrown that you could lose a herd of sheep in there, I have no working tractor or implements if I did have one working. There was a day when I kept it cut with a scythe. Sheep must be a good thing, they seem to be expensive when I see them for sale here.Sunnybrook Farmhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18135224259672444423noreply@blogger.com
